I love being a Real Estate Agent and I love helping my clients. Doing what you love and what you believe in isn’t really work. I very much enjoy helping my clients. My story

I used to work in the corporate world many many years back. I was successful in financial sales until the company downsized and eliminated many sales jobs. At that point I thought that was the worst day in my life. I slept about it and the next day I decided to make my then part time job my full time job. I never looked back. Working in Real Estate has allowed me to touch so many different lives, being part of so many decisions and helping my clients along the way. I am truly blessed, waking up every morning doing what I love.

Real Estate isn’t always glamorous, its not always the nice pictures we are sharing, but I love every minute of my job. Even when I complain about something that did’t go my way. In real estate there are wins and loses. You take the good with the bad. I believe in what I am selling, I believe in Real Estate as an investment, I believe in accumulating wealth by acquiring Real Estate. I am a home owner, I am a Real Estate Investor and I am a Landlord, I speak from experience when I talk to my clients.

One of my regrets is that I did not purchase something when I first moved to Washington DC in 2003. When I first moved here it was temporary, or so I thought. I was renting for 4 years until my then boyfriend decided to purchase a home in Woodbridge. My boyfriend became my husband and he encouraged my to get my Real Estate license after I had a bad experience with a couple of Real Estate Agents. He has been working in new home sales for a while, so I had a great mentor. As live goes my husband became my ex-husband but we still have many Real Estate conversations and collaborations. Now I have a very supportive partner that supports my Real Estate Career and is always there to help.

If you have ever been interested in a career in Real Estate all you need is someone that believes in you, you need to believe in yourself and most importantly you need to have a passion to helping people. If you are just interested in making quick money Real Estate will not be for you. Real Estate is hard work, long days but if you like what you are doing you never have to work a day in your life. You are doing what you love.
