Leesylvania State Park:
This park has plenty of outdoor activities to offer, such as hiking, fishing, and boating. It also has a playground and picnic areas, making it a great spot for a family day out. There is a beach area there for everyone to enjoy.
Neabsco Creek Boardwalk:
This scenic boardwalk is perfect for a family walk or bike ride. It has beautiful views of the creek and plenty of benches to stop and take in the scenery. This Christmas they had beautiful Christmas Lights decorations.
Stonebridge at Potomac Town Center:
This outdoor shopping center has a variety of shops and restaurants, as well as a splash pad for children to cool off in on hot summer days. In the winter they have a ice skating rink, it looks like so much fun.
Escape Room Woodbridge:
Test your family’s problem-solving skills at Escape Room Woodbridge, where you’ll work together to solve puzzles and escape before time runs out. I love the Escape Room, so much fun for the entire family.
Rippon Lodge:
Take a step back in time and explore the historic Rippon Lodge, which dates back to the 18th century. The estate offers tours and hosts events throughout the year.
Skate-N-Fun Zone:
Let your kids burn off energy at Skate-N-Fun Zone, an indoor roller skating rink with arcade games and laser tag. Technically this one is in Manassas but still just around the corner and lots of fun.
Marine Corps Museum:
Visit the National Museum of the Marine Corps, this museum is dedicated to the history of the United States Marine Corps and is a great educational experience for kids. They can see exhibits on the Marine Corps’ history, equipment, and more.
Waterworks Waterpark
Splash around at Waterworks Waterpark, this water park has plenty of water slides, a lazy river, and a children’s play area. It’s a great place to cool off on a hot day.
Fantasy Playground
This is the playground of all playgrounds and so much fun. Going there the adults want to be kids again. Technically this fantasy playground is for all the residents of Lake Ridge as it is part of the Lake Ridge HOA.
Beehive indoor Playground
This indoor playground offers 90 minutes play sessions. This is a great place to go to in the rain, cold or hot temperatures, but even any other day this is great to visit. Check them out.
