The school is named after local education advocates Betty Covington and John Harper Jr. The state-of-the-art campus supports 900 K-5 students with 19 acres of modern classrooms and grass practice fields. The new 33-acre-campus middle school follows in 2021, serving grades 6-8.
Dumfries, Virginia, offers plenty of public and private educational opportunities nearby, including the prestigious Saint John Paul the Great Catholic High School, a private 40-acre campus with an impressive learning facility.
