Pools
The Association maintains 5 pools spread throughout the community– Ridgewood, Oakwood, Tall Oaks, Edgewood and Canterbury Woods. They boast water features, baby pools, diving boards, slides and even a spa and sauna at one of the pools. Be sure to get your membership cards well in advance before the summer, and check out each of them to see which suits your family best!
Community Centers
Community center rentals are a great idea for birthday parties, baby showers, bridal showers, small weddings, receptions, group meetings or any gathering with 75 people or less. Both of our centers include kitchen spaces, tables and chairs for flexible setup and plenty of decorating potential. Call the Recreation Department to check availability. Once a date is decided upon, fill out a contract with the Recreation Department at the Association office to reserve. Weekends tend to book an average of 3 months in advance, so be sure to plan ahead!
Outdoor Recreation
Other outdoor recreational points of interest such as recreational courts, a boat ramp, playgrounds including the Fantasy Playground, fitness stations, sports fields and county trails give members plenty to enjoy in the community.
Little Free Library
Situated near the Association’s office building and the Creative Preschool is a small structure resembling a bird house– and it is actually a tiny library! The Lake Ridge Cover-to-Cover Book Club sponsors this fun book-sharing network. Take a book to read and/or leave one for someone else.
